Through small drawn observations, one can see a side of Elden that few outside of the "Elden family" have seen. The exhibition provides a small insight into life at the play site: summer romances, the volunteers, wet clothes, large horses, friendships, laughter, tears, the small moments, and the big moments—essentially what Elden represents for many.
Elden – behind the scenes – illustrations by Stian Tranung
“Elden – behind the scenes” is an anniversary exhibition that offers a glimpse behind the scenes of Norway's largest historical play. Stian Tranung is an illustrator who has participated in Elden for many years as a performer, and in recent years as an assistant director. This summer, his drawings from behind the scenes will be featured in Smelthytta, Røros Museum.
