Guided tours start in the reception area at Smelthytta and follow our permanent exhibitions. The tour of the mining exhibition "The Copper Works" gives insight into the mining operations and smelting methods used throughout the history of Røros Copper Works. In the exhibition "In their Finery" you will hear about how people from the Røros region dressed for special occasions and how traditional costumes changed over time, influenced by fashion impulses, economics and climatic conditions.
The guided tour is included in the entrance fee to the museum.

Audioguides are available in Norwegian, English, German and French, and are included in the ticket price.
